Eva has been walking for a couple months, but cautiously. Making sure not to fall, even gently. This morning she picked some magnetic photos off the refrigerator and then walked with them out of the kitchen, down the hall, and into our bedroom to our bed. I followed, clapping and cheering wildly! Eva was so proud that she turned around and just kept walking ... out of our bedroom, down the hall, around a complete circle of the kitchen and living room, to the sunroom where she rested (but only momentarily) at the chaise. WOW!!
And as if that weren't enough, Jake taught Eva to say "blueberry" yesterday (... well, at least the "bluuuue" part). This morning at breakfast she was able to ask for her favorite fruit "bluuuue" repeatedly! I decided to take full advantage of her HUGE developmental day, so we went downstairs to practice identifying colors (red/rojo, blue/azul, green/verde, yellow/amarillo), but I think that's going to take a little bit more time.
Way to go, Eva!! ;)
