i like juice.

Eva is stringing together three or four word sentences more often now. And she loves to be understood! When I was getting her out of her crib this morning, she told me "i like juice". So I responded "sure, you like juice. but look here ... i brought you some water". She very patiently and calmly responded "i like juice".

And it continued. Very patiently. In the sweetest Eva voice. Throughout our whole morning routine of dressing and then into the kitchen. As though she understands that I'm a new mom, and she's willing to teach me.

i like juice. i like juice. I LIKE JUICE. i like juice! JUICE!!

ilikejuice, ilikejuice, ilikejuice.

hehehe ... i like juice! juice. i like juice! i like juice.

And so, sweet Eva, you had your juice. ;)

Carter, on the other hand, would like us to understand that he does not like peas. He isn't saying words yet, but the look on his face was clear enough!
